Add Custom App Locations

BuhoLaunchpad automatically scans the default Applications folder to display your installed apps. If you have apps stored in other locations - such as an external drive, a secondary internal drive, or a custom folder - you can easily add these locations to include them in your Launchpad.

  1. Open App Locations Settings
  • Launch BuhoLaunchpad and open Settings.

  1. Manage Your Locations
  • To remove a location: Select the folder and click the - button.

BuhoLaunchpad will automatically scan all added locations and display the apps found in your Launchpad.

What Happens When an External Drive Is Disconnected?

If you add an app from an external drive and later disconnect that drive, the app will still appear in BuhoLaunchpad - but with a question mark (?) icon.

This indicates that BuhoLaunchpad can no longer locate the app because its source drive is unavailable.

To resolve this:

  • Reconnect the external drive and the app will become available again.
  • If you no longer need the app, you can remove it from your Launchpad using the Hide function or delete it from your custom location list.
