Mac and iPad May be Launched in the 2nd Apple Event in 2021
According to a Twitter post by Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple may host two events this year.
Apple will hold a special "California Streaming" event on September 14, 2021. What to expect in this event are iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7. According to multiple media reports, the biggest changes to iPhone 13 will be a narrower notch display and the new add-in "Portrait Mode feature. The Apple Watch Series 7 will continue the design concept of previous Apple phones and tablets, with the dial size increasing to 41mm and 45mm.
As for the Mac and iPad, they may not be released until the next event. In the Power On column, Gurman said that a new MacBook Pro with the M1X chip is expected to launch in the coming weeks, but he didn't explicitly mention that it would be unveiled at a California streaming event. Gurman also revealed in July that Apple was continuing to develop its own chip-based version of the larger-screen iMac. The larger, redesigned iMac will replace the Intel version of the 27-inch model.
Apple is also expected to launch iPad mini 6 and iPad 9 this fall. Gurman said the iPad mini 6 would be similar in design to the latest iPad Air, but with the latest processor and the biggest redesign in the iPad mini's nine-year history. iPad 9 could come with a larger 10.5-inch processor and a faster A14 Bionic chip, and it will be cheaper.
Last year, Gurman successfully predicted three events for Apple. So, his news is still quite reliable.
